Offline Exam 2026-27 Highlights

Mode of Exam

National Phonics Olympiad 2026-27 will be conducted offline through registered schools/centres only.

Eligibility

Students from Nursery to Class 2 across India are eligible to participate.

10th OR 11th April 2027
(as per the date selected by the school/centre)

Exam Fees

₹950/- per student

Regular Registrations

Till 10th February 2027 – ₹950/- per student
(Last date of regular registrations – closes on 10th February 2027)

Late Registrations

11th February to 20th February 2027
₹950/- + ₹100/- late fee = ₹1050/- per student
(Accepted only through website)

Very Late Registrations

21st February to 28th February 2027 – ₹1050/- per student
Note: No books or study kits will be provided for registrations during this period

Registrations Closed

After 28th February 2027, No registrations will be accepted.

A. NPO is a national-level competitive exam designed to help children master English phonics sounds, and improve reading, spelling, and pronunciation skills.

A. The National Phonics Olympiad is conducted by the Phonics Olympiad Organization, an ISO 9001:2015 certified and MSME-registered educational body based in Mumbai, India. Established in 2019, it is the country’s first and only Phonics Olympiad, designed and managed by a team of trained and experienced educators.

A. Participation in the National Phonics Olympiad helps children:

Strengthen phonemic awareness and reading fluency
Improve spelling and pronunciation skills
Boost confidence through a national-level platform
Develop vocabulary and comprehension abilities
Receive recognition, awards, and certificates for their achievements
Build a strong foundation for future academic success, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020

A. Students from Nursery to Class 2 across India are eligible to participate.

A. The National Phonics Olympiad 2026-27 will be conducted offline only through registered schools and exam centres across India. If there is no centre in your area, you can write to phonicsolympiad@gmail.com.

A. On 10th or 11th April 2027 (date will be decided by the school/centre).

A. The dispatch process of the Study Material Kits initially starts in August. Thereafter, the study material is dispatched within 15–20 working days from the date of registration.

LKG & UKG – 45 mins
Class 1 & 2 – 60 mins
