Offline Exam 2025-26 Highlights

Mode of Exam

National Phonics Olympiad 2025-26 will be conducted offline through registered schools/centres only.

Eligibility

Students from Nursery to Class 2 across India are eligible to participate.

11th OR 12th April 2026
(as per the date selected by the school/centre)

Exam Fees

₹850/- per student

Late Registration

₹850 + ₹100 late fee = ₹950
(Accepted only through website)

Very Late Registration

21st February to 28th February 2026 – ₹950
Note: No books or study kits will be provided for registrations during this period

After 28th February 2026

No registrations will be accepted.

A. NPO is a national-level competitive exam designed to help children master English phonics sounds, and improve reading, spelling, and pronunciation skills.

A. The National Phonics Olympiad is conducted by the Phonics Olympiad Organization, an ISO 9001:2015 certified and MSME-registered educational body based in Mumbai, India. Established in 2019, it is the country’s first and only Phonics Olympiad, designed and managed by a team of trained and experienced educators.

A. Participation in the National Phonics Olympiad helps children:

Strengthen phonemic awareness and reading fluency
Improve spelling and pronunciation skills
Boost confidence through a national-level platform
Develop vocabulary and comprehension abilities
Receive recognition, awards, and certificates for their achievements
Build a strong foundation for future academic success, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020

A. Students from Nursery to Class 2 across India are eligible to participate.

A. The National Phonics Olympiad 2025–26 will be conducted offline only through registered schools and exam centres across India. If there is no centre in your area, you can write to phonicsolympiad@gmail.com.

A. The dispatch process of the Study Material Kits initially starts in September. Thereafter, the study material is dispatched within 15–20 working days from the date of registration.

Nursery – 30 mins
LKG & UKG – 45 mins
Class 1 & 2 – 60 mins

A. The teacher reads out the questions, and students circle or tick the correct answers.
